August 27th, 2016 - Johnny Captures Fourth Straight Victory
1Competing with the Ultimate Super Late Model Series, Johnny Pursley made the trip to Modoc Raceway (Modoc, South Carolina) on Saturday night for the Bad Boy Off Road 50. In a field of 21 Super Late Models, Pursley timed in 3rd quickest putting him 3rd on the starting rundown for the main event. Outdueling pole-starter Casey Roberts, Johnny stormed to his fourth straight victory with Roberts, Brent Dixon, Anthony Sanders, and Hunter Peacock rounding out the Top 5. August 13th, 2016 - Pursley Makes it Three in a Row at Fayetteville
1Returning with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series, Johnny Pursley traveled to Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) on Tuesday night for the 44th Annual Shrine Race. After laying down the 2nd fastest time in a field of 16 cars, Pursley earned the 2nd-starting spot for the feature alongside Brett Hamm. Holding off a charging Chris Ferguson, Johnny captured his second straight victory with Ferguson, Dennis Franklin, Jeff Smith, and Doug Sanders rounding out the Top 5. Johnny claimed a $3,000 payday for his triumph in the 35-lap A-Main.

1On Saturday night Johnny headed to Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned Back to School Bash. In a field of 16 competitors, Pursley timed in 3rd fastest giving him the 3rd-starting position for the $4,000-to-win feature. August 6th, 2016 - Johhny Pursley Wins Stick Elliott Memorial at Cherokee
1Running with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series, Johnny Pursley made the trip to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) on Saturday night for the Stick Elliott Memorial. After timing in 2nd fastest in a field of 19 cars, Pursley earned the 2nd-starting spot for the feature alongside Brett Hamm. Charging to his first win of the season, Johnny outdueled Chris Ferguson, Brett Hamm, Anthony Sanders, and Josh Langley at the finish line picking up a $4,000 payday. (ZSK Photography)

July 22nd, 2016 - Scary Wreck for Pursley at Swainsboro
1On Friday night Johnny Pursley returned with the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series for the $5,300-to-win feature at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia). After jumping out to the lead early in his heat race, Johnny flipped violently in turns 3 and 4 but managed to walk out of his car unharmed.

July 16th, 2016 - Pursley Debuts in Southern Nationals Series
1Kicking off the 12th Annual Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series presented by Old Man’s Garage, Johnny Pursley visited Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Virginia) on Saturday night. Competing for a $10,000 payday in the feature, Johnny logged a 26th place outing in the 53-lap affair.

July 9th, 2016 - Johnny Pursley Finishes 3rd in Grassy Smith Memorial
1Following a rain-out on Thursday, Johnny Pursley invaded Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) on Friday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned event. Drawing twenty-six cars for the 18th Annual Grassy Smith Memorial, Pursley scored a runner-up finish in his heat behind Scott Bloomquist earning him a 4th place starting spot for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. 1Johnny Pursley visited Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the Big Daddy 500 event co-sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series and the Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass Series (UBoB). June 14th, 2016 - Johnny Competes in Shrine Race on Tuesday Night
1On Tuesday night Johnny Pursley made the trip to Laurens County Speedway (Laurens, South Carolina) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned show. With eight cars registered in for the Shrine Race, Pursely posted a podium finish in the A-Main. Battling for a $3,500 payday, Johnny landed a 3rd place finish behind Ross Bailes and Chris Madden with Donald Bradsher and Zach Mitchell rounding out the top five.

June 11th, 2016 - Pursley Notches a 7th Place Finish at Volunteer Speedway
1Piloting the Farmer Service Center #09 Super Late Model, Johnny Pursley traveled to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event. Drawing twenty-six cars, Pursley started the night off with a heat race win earning him a 9th place starting spot for the feature. June 3rd, 2016 - Johnny Pursley Notches Another Runner-up Finish

May 14th, 2016 - Pursley Places 2nd at Modoc Raceway
1On Friday night Johnny Pursley invaded Travelers Rest Speedway (Travelers Rest, South Carolina) for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series sanctioned Whitey Whiteside Memorial. Drawing a field of fifteen cars, Pursley recorded the sixth fastest time earned him a 3rd row starting spot for the feature. Battling for a $5,000 payday, Johnny was an early retiree after making contact with spun out car in front of him in turn two.

1Making up for the round of bad luck on Friday, Pursley headed to Modoc Raceway (Modoc, South Carolina on Saturday for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event. Earning a 3rd place starting spot for the feature in a field of seventeen, Pursley improved one spot in the 50-lapper notching a 2nd place finish behind Brett Hamm with Ross Bailes, Casey Roberts, and Brent Dixon rounding out the top five.

April 30th, 2016 - Bad Luck for Pursley in WoO Event at Carolina Speedway
1Johnny Pursley headed to Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) on Friday night for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned event. Drawing thirty-five Super Late Models, Pursley posted the fastest time in his field of seventeen. Cruising to a 10-lap heat race win, Johnny earned a front row starting spot for the feature starting alongside Jason Covert. After taking over the lead early in the race, Pursley dropped out of the main event on the 16th lap after losing a left-rear tire.

On Saturday night Pursley was one of thirty cars signed in at Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) for another $10,000-to-win A-Main. Scoring a runner-up finish in his heat behind Willie Milliken, Johnny was slated to start the feature from the 6th place starting spot. With 50-laps to gain some ground Johnny Pursley fell back to a 13th place finish.

April 23rd, 2016 - Johnny Pursley Places 7th at Lancaster
1Returning with the South Eastern Crate Association (SECA), Johnny Pursley traveled to Lancaster Motor Speedway (Lancaster, South Carolina) on Saturday night. Competing in a field of fourteen cars, Pursley earned an 8th place starting spot for the feature via preliminary results. Gaining one spot in the feature, Johnny logged a 7th place finish.

April 16th, 2016 - Pursley Records a Pair of Top Ten Finishes
1Competing in the Crate Late Model division, Johnny Pursley traveled to Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) on Friday night for the South Eastern Crate Association (SECA) sanctioned event. Posting the fastest time in qualifying, Johnny went on to capture a heat race win sending him into the A-Main where he fell back to a 4th place outing.

The following night brought Pursley to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for the $1,000-to-win SECA event. Starting in 13th for the feature, Johnny improved seven positions logging a 6th place outing.

April 2nd, 2016 - Johnny Pursley Wheels Crate Car to Runner-up Finish
1Powering the #47 Crate Late Model, Johnny Pursley headed to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) on Saturday night for the South Eastern Crate Association (SECA) sanctioned event. Following a 4th place finish in his heat, Pursley earned a 7th place starting position for the feature. Advancing through the field five spots, Johnny landed a runner-up finish behind Trent Ivey with Layton Sullivan, Thomas Robinson, and Brian Carswell trailing them across the finish line.

March 6th, 2016 - Johnny Pursley Begins 2016 Season at Cherokee
1Kicking of the 2016 season, Johnny Pursley made the trip to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) on Saturday night for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned March Madness XIV. Drawing seventeen Super Late Models for the two-day event, Pursley timed in 5th quick in qualifying earning him a 5th place starting position for the feature. Paying $3,000 to winner, Johnny improve two spots scoring a 3rd place finish behind Chris Madden and Brandon Overton with Ross Bailes and Brett Hamm rounding out the top five.

On Sunday night in a field of twenty-two Super Late Models, Pursley was slated to start 3rd for his 10-lap heat race.
